Loving this as a cover for the game!
Apparently Capcom wasn't contented with the first release of the long awaited Marvel vs. Capcom 3, so they decided to make a sequel with much more things to love. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will already be released in a day or two so let me do a post for this is my favorite game of all time. Why is it my favorite? It's because I absolutely love Capcom characters and easy controls which is all seen in this game. This title is what probably got the name of certain Capcom characters out like the Street Fighter and Darkstalkers guys and babes.
Anyway, Capcom will be releasing another game which is like the newer version of Marvel vs. Capcom 3 called Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. 12 new characters are added in this game which makes it much better.
6 from Marvel include: Hawkeye, Ghost Rider, Nova, Rocket Raccoon, Doctor Strange, and Iron Fist
6 from Capcom include: Vergil, Fireband, Phoenix Wright, Nemesis, Frank West, Strider Hiryu
Aside from the all new characters, some changes will also be applied like the updates and changes to each characters' opening sequence, lifebars have also been changed, and 8 more stages to make the fight much more intense (some are just edits of the original stage). There are also some DLC features like costumes but I won't go into that because there are too many and I don't really understand the concept of those DLC (I believe they should all be free, nyehehehehe).
From Fighter's Generation: Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 adds 12 new fighters to the original roster, bringing the total number of characters up to 50! In addition, 8 new stages will be added (some are remixed classic stages), and visual upgrades to life bars & super meters have been made. All returning characters will be receiving new moves or updates to their existing movesets. Characters will also have brand new dialogue upon entering the battle after their teammates are defeated. Several other gameplay tweaks will be made, including a tweaked air combo system and the ability to activate X-factor while in the air.
There's a lot of things I MUST rave about! First is the new characters, I'm really excited to try to play Phoenix Wright even though I don't really know him, all I know is those quotes about "objection."Strider Hiryu also returns after popular demand I think. I'm really optimistic that I can slash myself to the boss in seconds if I use him. Lastly, one badass character that caught my attention is Ghost Rider who I hope will not be deceiving by his looks. He looks really cool and his attacks should surely match. Aside from the characters, I really am looking forward to the new stages because I found the first release of the game really boring with although nice stages, it was too little and did not satisfy me after playing it quite sometime. Lastly, I would really commend the artwork for this game, I'm a big fan of the anime-ish kinds of drawings so thanks to artist Shinkiro, I was able to really admire the artwork this time more than the last.
The only rant that I have is that there should be more babes in this video game! I remember Marvel vs. Capcom 2 where there were really good female characters but this roster is pretty good too. Now I can experiment with the more popular characters.
Release dates for this is on November 15, 2011 (US) for PS3 and 360, November 17, 2011 (Japan) for PS3 and 360, and December 17, 2011 (Japan) for PSV.
